This idea reminded me of the times when I doodled a lot over letters on every page from the textbook, shading every negative space within the letters, imagining what would the ‘A’s do without the triangular empty core, or if ‘O’s are no longer a ring but a full solid circle? Sadistically enough, I grinned at the thought that they might actually feel insecure about themselves looking different. Until the entire page looks like some sort of symbol cipher, I would be so full of myself as if it were some major accomplishment. And yes, those were the childhood days when thoughts such as these wouldn’t be seen insane, but the very birth of the understanding of typography and drawing from the emotions they represent.
